Josh Smith, a former Attica football star who never received a Purdue offer, said the setback helped him build a strong career in college football and the Navy.

The Journal and Courier published the full schedule for 27 Lafayette area high school football teams as the 2025 season will kick off in 32 days from today—this release details game dates, kickoff times, and opponents for teams such as Lafayette Jeff and West Lafayette.
Former West Lafayette and Purdue football star George Karlaftis signed a four-year, $93 million contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs (with $62 million guaranteed) as he enters his fourth NFL season.
He helped the Chiefs win two Super Bowls during his first three seasons and is set to continue his role with the team.
