- ➤ A man died in a single-vehicle crash on Teal Road Wednesday night when his Dodge Ram veered off the road and hit a tree in a front yard—police arrived just after 7 p.m. and pronounced him dead while investigators looked into the cause. Star City News

- ➤ At Copper Moon Coffee in Lafayette, the facility roasted green coffee beans and packaged boxes of dark roast Sumatra along with medium roast Stargazer for shipment to retail stores on Tuesday, March 25. - ➤ Kwame Riddle pleaded guilty to manslaughter and will spend 18 years in prison for killing Terry Taylor early on July 11th, 2024 in the 1600 block of Briarwood Court—his girlfriend faces charges for allegedly assisting him. Journal & Courier
- ➤ Prosecutors charged Joshua Lusby with rape, criminal confinement, strangulation and intimidation after a woman said she was sexually assaulted in his Transitional Housing apartment at Eighth and Ferry streets—police arrested him Friday and he remains in Tippecanoe County Jail—. - ➤ Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita has filed a lawsuit against GM and OnStar for secretly collecting and selling driving data from residents without their consent. The suit seeks a permanent injunction to stop the practice — and calls for civil penalties and consumer restitution under state law. Star City News
- ➤ Lafayette residents should plan for a road closure as Haggerty Lane at Park East Boulevard will be closed from March 31 to June 30 for roundabout construction — drivers using Haggerty Lane for Veterans Memorial Parkway are advised to take alternate routes. Star City News
