- ➤ A public visitation honoring Purdue diversity pioneer Jesse Moore will begin at noon Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Purdue Memorial Union in West Lafayette, where community members will reflect on his lasting impact as a mentor and leader who boosted minority-owned business engagement at Purdue. - ➤ Pink Droyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band, will perform on March 7 at the Long Center for the Performing Arts to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Wish You Were Here. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. — the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Star City News

- ➤ Parents in Lafayette gathered for a social media education night to learn about online safety from Tippecanoe County School Resource Officer Beth Frazier.
