- ➤ Dog n Suds celebrated its 70th season opening on Feb. 23 with half-price coney dogs through Wednesday. General Manager Jo Davenport (who started working there as a teen) said strong community support keeps the drive-in a local favorite. Star City News

- ➤ Rollerskating duo Transcend captivated Mackey Arena during a halftime performance while continuing a 14-year run of international shows in Las Vegas, Europe and Hawaii. Journal & Courier
- ➤ During halftime at Mackey Arena, Tyce surprised the Purdue crowd by producing a device (with a black neck loop and tail-like feature) as his grand finale stunt. Journal & Courier
- ➤ Duo Transcend, known from America's Got Talent, delivered a daring roller-skating act at Mackey Arena on Friday. The acrobatic pair honed their routine on a cruise ship (their early training venue) and impressed Purdue fans with creative spins and a signature neck-hold move. Journal & Courier
- ➤ A local group formed a nonprofit to buy Indiana’s oldest synagogue on South Seventh St and turn it into a Jewish history center and museum for local heritage, listing at $299,900 while they have raised ($9,515) to preserve its historic features. Journal & Courier

- ➤ Wabash Township Board approved up to $5.5 million for a new building that will expand fire services and add a food pantry (a needed resource) and office space for trustee services. Construction will start in the coming weeks and is expected to be completed next March. Star City News
