- ➤ Hicks explains that SEA1, a tax cut for businesses, is prompting local governments to raise income taxes to offset lost revenue, a change that will burden younger families and may lead to rural school consolidations and reduced public services in the community. Journal & Courier

- ➤ Purdue alum and board-certified nurse practitioner Stephanie Curwick joins Franciscan Physician Network Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation after completing her residency in Lafayette + earning nursing degrees from Purdue University Global and Purdue University. Star City News
- ➤ Bibibop Asian Grill in West Lafayette closed Friday and reopened Monday after 18 reports of food-related illness, with manager Christian Monroy saying the restaurant now checks food temperature and changes sanitizer buckets every hour to curb further risks. Journal & Courier
