- ➤ Kelly Lippie (veteran curator with 20 years of museum experience) has been named Tippecanoe County historian by the Indiana Historical Society. She previously managed collections at the local Historical Association and will now help connect the community with its history. Journal & Courier
- ➤ Purdue alum Justin Vining painted live during the Purdue vs. Iowa game at Mackey Arena as part of the 100th consecutive sellout event. He captured the game’s energy with quick brush strokes while local fans cheered the record sellout. Journal & Courier

- ➤ Families in Lafayette can sign up for free cooking classes to learn healthy and budget-friendly meal prep starting Feb. 4; sessions run every other Wednesday through March at the Food Finders Food Bank Inc. - ➤ West Lafayette Fire Station No. 3 at 1100 Kalberer Road is set to expand as the city requests a rezone to allow four new bedrooms, extra truck bays and upgraded safety systems to better meet emergency service needs.
