Residents in downtown Lafayette shared their favorite holiday gift ideas, saying that memorable experiences — like a spa trip or an international vacation — are valued more than physical gifts.

They noted that lasting memories with family hold more meaning than items that wear out quickly.

In November, Tippecanoe County listed its median home for $355,000—a 2.1% drop from October—at 55 days on market, while Lafayette-West Lafayette listings fell to $333,000 and Indiana homes were $289,900.
