- ➤ The Indiana Football Coaches Association announced its Top 50 All-State team on Dec. 6 at 1:47 p.m. The roster names offensive and defensive standouts from several school classes. Journal & Courier
- ➤ After Purdue suffered its first loss of the season to Iowa State, Coach Matt Painter explained his thoughts during a post-game interview today at Mackey Arena. He said the team must learn from the experience to improve for upcoming contests. Journal & Courier
- ➤ On Saturday, Purdue basketball lost its nonconference home game at Mackey Arena when No. 10 Iowa State—led by Milan Momcilovic with 20 points—forced turnovers and built a 27-point lead in the second half to win 81-58, ending Purdue’s streak since 2019. Journal & Courier
- ➤ Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (who played two seasons at Iowa State) was at Mackey Arena on Dec. 6 when Purdue faced Iowa State in a top-10 matchup. Journal & Courier
- ➤ On Dec. 6, 2025, Harrison won the IU Health Hoops Classic when junior Brody Baker scored a 16-foot shot (with 4.2 seconds left) to beat Lafayette Jeff 41-40. Harrison improved its record to 3-0 and will face Lafayette Jeff again Saturday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. Journal & Courier
