- ➤ The Lafayette Urban Ministry will serve more than 800 free Thanksgiving meals on Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at Central Presbyterian Church (31 N. Seventh St.), where Tippecanoe County residents can enjoy a full meal including turkey, stuffing, and sides without needing to register. Journal & Courier
- ➤ The West Lafayette Public Library will host a cookie recipe swap on Dec. 4 at 5:30 p.m. for adults, asking them to bring 20-30 sample cookies + printed recipes that list ingredients for allergies or dietary restrictions. Star City News

- ➤ BIBIBOP Asian Grill will open a new restaurant on Dec. 4 in West Lafayette with a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m. and doors opening at 11 a.m.; at the event, customers will receive scratch-off tickets and 100 winners will get free bowls (one per month) for a year at 111 S. - ➤ Several stores in Greater Lafayette+ including Pay-Less Super Markets, Meijer and Fresh Thyme Market will be open on Thanksgiving Day to supply last-minute dinner items+ with hours ranging from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. across the area. Journal & Courier
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ INDOT will reopen road closures on U.S. routes, interstates and state highways on Wednesday at noon to ease Thanksgiving traffic and will resume regular maintenance on December 1. These changes do not include closures for long-term projects or safety concerns (long-term projects remain closed) and updates are available on INDOT's 511 website and TrafficWise app (check current conditions). - ➤ Purdue Pharmacy is offering free vaccines to anyone over 11, including COVID-19, flu, Hepatitis A/B, shingles and polio, at 575 Stadium Mall Drive (Room 118) and is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Appointments can be booked online. Star City News

- ➤ Purdue football has one game left as offensive coordinator Josh Henson said the team will decide on its quarterback approach after using both Ryan Browne and Malachi Singleton at Washington (the final plan will be set before facing IU). Journal & Courier
- ➤ Purdue defensive coordinator Mike Scherer said his team is preparing to face Indiana after big plays by Washington raised concerns about the defense. He said Purdue will need extra focus to counter Indiana—known for explosive offense—in the upcoming game. Journal & Courier
