- ➤ Lafayette Urban Ministry has opened registration for its Turkey Trot 5K fundraiser, which will take place this Thanksgiving at Cattail Trail Loop in West Lafayette—check-in will start at 7:15 a.m.—and over 1,000 people ran the event last year. Star City News
- ➤ Columbian Park Zoo is selling tickets for Reindeer Rendezvous on Dec. 6—an event where visitors meet Santa and his reindeer while enjoying holiday festivities. Tickets cost $8 online and $10 at the door, with free admission for children under 3. Star City News

- ➤ The final stages of the installation for 'On the Banks of the Wabash' art piece have begun—workers have closed a sidewalk for its setup outdoors. Star City News

- ➤ At an AI conference with Google leaders, Purdue announced plans for an AI competency graduation requirement that may take effect for incoming classes as early as fall (pending Board of Trustees approval). Star City News

- ➤ The West Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department announced that November's Coffee Talk—presented by the IU Health Pharmacy Team—will cover Medicare changes in 2025 and expectations for 2026, set for Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to noon at the John R.
