The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is asking residents to report sightings of exotic Mediterranean geckos (Hemidactylus turcicus) seen at various locations across the state.
DNR officials say the lizards are non-dangerous, usually arrive as hitchhikers on shipments, and are mostly active at night.
