Purdue football will be without defensive lineman TJ Lindsey—who tore his right ACL last week—as he undergoes surgery on Tuesday, leaving him sidelined for the rest of the season.

Purdue lost to Notre Dame by 56-30 on Saturday after a 2-hour lightning delay changed the game's pace, and the Boilermakers will use their bye week to fix defensive issues before facing No.8 Illinois.
