Fourteen new firefighters from West Lafayette, Purdue University, and Wabash Township will be sworn in at a ceremony on Sept.

11 at West Lafayette Junior/Senior High School, where they will begin their shift assignments and complete ongoing training during their probationary year.

The Civic Theatre of Greater Lafayette will perform Treasure Island on the Wabash River from Sept.

Trash and recycling routes will be delayed by one day as the city observes Labor Day on Monday, Sept.
