- ➤ Purdue wide receiver Nitro Tuggle — who transferred from Georgia and is a four-star recruit from Goshen — was featured on ESPN's College GameDay when analysts doubted his existence; he is playing his first season with the Boilermakers and wears number 0. Journal & Courier
- ➤ Purdue defeated Ball State 31-0 at Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday — Ryan Browne threw for a career-high 311 yards, two touchdowns, and scored his first rushing touchdown after transferring back.
