County workers confirmed Tippe 2000—a time capsule sealed in 2000 for the bicentennial—will be opened today at 1 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Courthouse (southwest corner) as part of the celebration.

West Lafayette is hosting Community Night today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Cason Family Park.

The free event features fishing with first responders, a dunk tank, ice cream, and overflow parking at Connection Point Church with police + fire crews helping with safe street crossings.

The Haan Museum of Indiana Art in Lafayette secured a $255,800 federal grant to expand collections care, launch an AI-powered cataloging project and create internships in partnership with Purdue + IU.
