- ➤ The Lafayette Police Department has launched monthly social media videos with Police Chief Scott Galloway to share crime trends and positive community news. The department will host National Night Out at Colombian Park on August 2nd — inviting everyone to join fun events and meet officers in uniform. Star City News
- ➤ The Tippecanoe 4-H fair started today in Lafayette and lets kids show their skills in art, woodworking, and animal projects; local vendors also display their goods. The fair runs until the 26th and offers rides and fair food for everyone. Star City News
- ➤ Local nonprofit LTHC Homeless Services on North 12th Street received a building upgrade when BioBond Adhesives provided an antimicrobial floor coating and Todd Hunt of All in One Professional Services applied it overnight — the 5,000-square-foot day room that serves over 100 visitors was ready by 7 a.m. last Thursday. - ➤ A motorcyclist died in a head-on crash with a GMC on State Road 75 Thursday night — police say the GMC driver was unharmed and the cause remains under investigation. Star City News

- ➤ The 2025 Lafayette Business Expo will take place on Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds—over 50 local businesses have registered, filling more than half of the booth spaces. Star City News
