- ➤ Gov. Mike Braun signed a new law aimed at reducing health care costs in Indiana that requires nonprofit hospitals with over $2 billion in revenue to adjust their prices to a statewide benchmark by 2029—this benchmark is set after a study of hospital prices using 2023—2024 data. The law also restructures hospital funding to better allocate Medicaid dollars and introduces a Managed Care Assessment Fee. WLFI
