- ➤ Lafayette Parks and Recreation shared behind-the-scenes photos of the Columbian Park Carousel under construction on Facebook. The carousel will open when all safety requirements are met. Star City News
- ➤ The Good Samaritan Project is hosting a Law Enforcement Appreciation Gathering today at 10 a.m. at its Cincinnati Street location to honor local law enforcement (their service and sacrifice), and community members are invited to attend. Star City News

- ➤ Indiana utilities are building new natural gas plants + battery storage to power growing data centers by tech giants in Hobart, Michigan City and beyond. Regulatory filings show these projects may help meet rising energy demands while some centers are partially supported by renewable resources. Journal & Courier

- ➤ Former Purdue president Mitch Daniels has been named interim president after Mung Chiang’s departure. He will assume the role in July as the university begins its national search for a new permanent leader. Star City News

- ➤ Three Faith Christian sisters made history by qualifying for the IHSAA state track meet after a record-breaking performance Tuesday at Scheumann Stadium.
