- ➤ Purdue junior Tatum Langston and crew chief Mollie Parker led Windsor Racing — an all-female go-kart team — as the only automatic qualifier at the 68th Purdue Grand Prix, aiming to encourage more women to enter motor sports. The team practiced year-round and battled mechanical issues during the race to demonstrate that women can excel in both racing and engineering. Journal & Courier
- ➤ Purdue football’s Marcus Mbow was picked by the New York Giants in the 2025 NFL Draft with the 154th pick—after returning from a leg injury, he started 12 games and is expected to contribute as a guard at the pro level. Journal & Courier
- ➤ Lafayette Jeff boys volleyball player Azlan Rodriguez and Covington softball player Caydence Peaslee were named the Journal & Courier Athlete of the Week.
