- ➤ Paul’s Plan Ministries and the Tippecanoe County sheriff’s office in Lafayette have run a peer support program that served 207 individuals until January when budget cuts reduced its reach to about 60 (the group will seek new funding to expand by July). Journal & Courier

- ➤ The 69th annual Purdue Grand Prix opens at 10 a.m. Saturday with the main race at 2:35 p.m. on campus. Police will boost patrols to manage busy roads as students look forward to a day celebrating race traditions (Purdue). Star City News
