- ➤ The Midwest Regional Climate Center at Purdue University has suspended its climate tools and data services after federal funding was cut on April 17th — leaving Indiana farmers and meteorologists without key weather and drought information. The center, which served nine Midwest states with data for agriculture and urban planning, awaits replacement funding — that could allow it to resume operation. Journal & Courier

- ➤ Braden Smith hosted a youth basketball camp at McCutcheon High School's Resler Gymnasium on Saturday that welcomed 200 kids—each camper received a personal photo and, for some, signed jerseys and trading cards during drills.
