- ➤ Gas prices in Indiana increased by 13 cents since last month but remain nearly 40 cents lower than at this time last year, with Lafayette recording $3.21 per gallon at local pumps. Analysts expect prices to rise later in April — the switch to summer-blend fuel may push rates higher in most areas. WLFI

- ➤ Jalil Hall, a four-star receiver who originally signed with West Virginia, announced Saturday morning he will join Purdue following a coaching staff change. He caught 56 passes for 991 yards and 14 touchdowns last fall and his commitment strengthens Purdue's receiving unit for the upcoming season—boosting the team. Journal & Courier
