Columbian Park Zoo is getting ready to open its season on Saturday with new animals and updated exhibits.

The zoo is building a primate area and will introduce a long-anticipated carousel this summer (along with displays featuring hellbender salamanders and baby goats expected soon).

Latino Business Expo returns to Lafayette on Friday, April 24 at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds from 3-7 p.m. The free event will feature over 60 local businesses — food trucks, a taco cook-off and a bounce house offer family-friendly attractions.
