- ➤ The student-produced broadcast 'Life on the Wabash'—made with Star City Broadcasting and Purdue University’s Brian Lamb School of Communication—won first prize from the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters over the weekend. - ➤ West Lafayette City Council postponed the vote on a rezoning request to change 121 acres between Yeager Road and North Salisbury Street from residential to industrial after residents raised concerns about health and environmental risks from the planned SK Hynix microchip plant—SK Hynix and the Purdue Research Foundation asked for the delay to clear up confusion. The council will vote on the request on May 5—more details will be shared after further information is provided. Star City News

- ➤ Purdue basketball added Oscar Cluff— a 6-foot-10 player from South Dakota State— to help fill a need for more physical play noted by coach Matt Painter after a Sweet 16 loss.
