A Highland woman, 23-year-old Rylee Danielle Flavin, was arrested and charged with felonies + including battery by means of a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Edward Soto, in a Lafayette parking lot on March 13.

Elizabeth Ashley Craig, 38, of Lafayette was arrested on March 14 for dealing and possessing methamphetamine and was designated a habitual offender after police chased her on a scooter near Greenbush Street, with searches of her backpack uncovering over 11 grams of meth, cash, and plastic baggies.

Indiana named Darian DeVries as its new men's basketball coach to replace Mike Woodson after a nationwide search was completed.

DeVries, who led West Virginia to a 10-win turnaround last season (after compiling a 150-55 record at Drake), said he is ready to build a championship culture in Bloomington.
