- ➤ A Highland woman, 23-year-old Rylee Danielle Flavin, was arrested and charged with felonies + including battery by means of a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Edward Soto, in a Lafayette parking lot on March 13. Star City News
- ➤ Elizabeth Ashley Craig, 38, of Lafayette was arrested on March 14 for dealing and possessing methamphetamine and was designated a habitual offender after police chased her on a scooter near Greenbush Street, with searches of her backpack uncovering over 11 grams of meth, cash, and plastic baggies. - ➤ Eight Lafayette area football players, an assistant coach and a manager have been named for the North team in the 59th Annual Murat Shrine North/South Football All-Star Classic this summer, including Lafayette Jeff quarterback Keyen Crowder and Central Catholic linebacker Ryan Delgatto. Crowder threw for 3,085 yards with 40 touchdowns and Delgatto made 99 tackles, and Crowder is set to attend Wabash College + other local standouts join the team. Journal & Courier
