West Lafayette senior wrestler Isabel Kaplan made history yesterday by outscoring Tri-County sophomore Graham Scherer 4-0 in the 113-pound IHSAA regional championship at Logansport.
She is the last girl allowed to compete against boys under the IHSAA rules (per rule 9-9).
Purdue Wrestling head coach Tony Ersland spoke after his team lost 28-6 to Illinois on Feb.
8 — saying the loss offered lessons for future matchups.
Former Purdue receiver Kirk Olivadotti, now a coach for the Seattle Seahawks, raised the Lombardi Trophy after the team beat the Patriots 29-13 at Levi's Stadium Feb.
