EDUCATION NEWS

  • Purdue board of trustees president Gary Lehman said on Friday that the university will not manage the campus-adjacent day care set to close in April due to funding challenges, and he urged parents to form a committee to address the future of nearly 120 child care spots.  Journal & Courier

  • Founder Paula Davis of Blooms+Petals launched a mental health campaign for Valentine’s season by donating $5 to Mental Health America for flower orders of $60 or more and $3 from each sale of her book Grace+Grit; the campaign runs Feb. 5-13.  Star City News
