- ➤ On Saturday, Harrison senior Joseph Gutierrez edged Lafayette Jeff junior Chris Hardy in double overtime to win the 285-pound title and extend his team's streak to 16 sectionals. - ➤ Tom Cutter, a future Indiana High School Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, credited his daily 100-point garage games on 4th Street for sharpening his skills for Central Catholic and Western Michigan.
